Magic Johnson retired in 1996 with a total of 2,346 assists in the playoffs, the best in NBA history. John Stockton who played 6 years more than Magic is the player who got "closer", 507 assists below. No other player in NBA history has reached at least half the assist Magic dished in the Playoffs.
Jerry West is second in franchise history and Kobe Bryant 3rd. Derek Fisher, Lamar Odom, Pau Gasol, Luke Walton and Jordan Farmar are the other current Lakers on this list. |
