The list includes both the Minneapolis Lakers and the Los Angeles Lakers players. Having Magic Johnson compiled the best career assists average in NBA playoffs history, it is no surprise that all his 13 playoff performances are in the top 50 in Lakers history. And this includes the first 9 spots of the list and 11 out of 12. Note that the first 2 on this list are also the best two in NBA history and the first 6 are among the NBA top 15. Jerry West is the other highlight of the list with 8 appearances. Kobe Bryant, the top scorer in Lakers history and the only current Laker here, is next appearing 7 times. Norm Nixon appears 6 times.
