These are the shoes designed for all Nike Olympic basketball players (with the exception of Lebron James). They are not signature sneakers but Nike is using Kobe Bryant as the face to promote them. Each Olympic star will have a version of the Hyperdunks personalized with their own characteristics and National Team colorways. Extra editions include Kobe Bryant PE Lakers (picture above), McFly 2015 (related with the Back to the Future movie) and the usual Black Mamba version.
The new edition of Kobe Bryant shoes, the Nike Hyperdunk feature.:
- Flywire technology redefines footwear construction, shaving off weight and adding strength, allowing athletes to be lighter on their feet and faster on the track and on the court.
- Lunarlite foam features a unique cell structure making it lightweight and ultra responsive as a cushioning system.
- At only 13.0 ounces, the Nike Hyperdunk is 18 percent lighter than the average Nike basketball shoe

On February 2008 Kobe's third shoes hit the streets. The pictures available show 3 color sets for the 2007-2008 NBA Season: black, grey and maize; grey, white and sky blue; and the All-Star edition with red and gold.
The new edition of Kobe Bryant signature shoes, the Nike Zoom Kobe III (3) feature:
- Stability: Carbon fiber plate provides the ultimate balance between stability and support, energy response and flexibility.
- Cushioning: Full-length Zoom Air unit in the midsole delivers protection, extreme responsiveness and quick motion on the court.
- Support: Injected cafte urethane on the upper forms the net shape for added support and adjustment on the foot.

2007: New Kobe Bryant Shoes !!!:
- April 2006: Kobe Bryant second signatures shoes made by Nike Basketball are on the streets.
The shoes are called "Air Zoom Kobe II " and are available in stores since April 4, 2007. Nike introduced its new Bryant signature shoe with a TV commercial on Feb. 9. The Zoom Kobe 2 are on the stores since April 1, 2007.

2004 News: Nike, the world's number one athletic shoe maker, signed Kobe Bryant, and his new shoes, the
Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2k4 basketball shoes become and instant success. According
to a shoe industry insider, Nike reached agreement with Bryant for
between $40 million and $45 million over five years, and he would
receive royalties on a planned signature shoe, which would boost
the total value of the deal into the range of the Lebron James contract. The endorsement deal was expected
for months, since Adidas and Bryant split.
