Single Season Average	In this page you can find the top 50 list with the best blocks seasons in Lakers history. The list includes both the Minneapolis Lakers and the Los Angeles Lakers players. Elmore Smith's Laker career was brief, but 2 years were enough to establish himself in the franchise books with almost all the blocks records. Among them he recorded the best season average with 4.85 in 1973-74. This is also the 3rd. best average in NBA history. Smith was sent to Milwaukee as a part of the trade for Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who covers the next 4 spots of this list. Abdul-Jabbar has the NBA all-time third best blocks total and 12 of his 14 seasons with the Lakers appear in this top 50. Other blockers with many appearances here are Shaquille O'Neal (8 times), Elden Campbell (7 times) and Vlade Divac (6 times). Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasolare the 2010-11 Lakers on this list.
