Magic Johnson averaged 3.43 steals per game in the 1980-81 season. This is not only the best all-time for the Lakers but also the 3rd. best in NBA history. Nine of Magic's 13 seasons appear on this list. Other stealers with many apperances are Kobe Bryant 6 times, and Eddie Jones and Norm Nixon, 5 times each. Trevor Ariza is the other 2008-09 player on this list.
