Magic Johnson totaled 2008 steals in the 1981-82 season, the best total in Lakers history. Eleven of Magic's 13 seasons appear on this list.
Other stealers with many apperances on the top 50 are Kobe Bryant with 7, Norm Nixon 5 times, and Eddie Jones and Michael Cooper, 4 times each.
