In this page you can find the top 50 list with the best career total assists. The list includes both the Minneapolis Lakers and the Los Angeles Lakers players.
When Magic Johnson retired in 1996, he was the NBA all-time leader in total assists. Later he was surpassed by John Stockton and Mark Jackson but his 10,141 assists are still the best in Lakers history by far.
In the 2007-08, Kobe Bryant climbed from 7th to 3rd in the Lakers all-time list for total assists, surpassing Norm Nixon, Michael Cooper, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Elgin Baylor.
Other current players on this list are Derek Fisher, Lamar Odom and Luke Walton. Jordan Farmar is not in here just by 1 assist (he has 517) |
