Magic Johnson retired as the top assister in NBA history (later surpassed by John Stockton, Jason Kidd and Mark Jackson), so it's no surprise that 11 of his 13 seasons are in the top 50 in Lakers history. And this includes the first 9 spots of the list and 10 out of 11. His two missing seasons are 1980-81 (injury) and 1995-96 (retirement)
Jerry West, the top scorer in Lakers history, is the other highlight of the list with 8 appearances. Other assiters with many apperances are Norm Nixon (6 times) and Nick Van Exel (5 times).
Kobe Bryant 4 times (including 414 in 2007-08, 37th.) and Lamar Odom once are the only 2010-11 Lakers you can find on this list. |
